We are an independent cafe, in the centre of Truro, Cornwall. Enjoy a great cup of locally roasted coffee, a range of relaxing teas and smoothies. Plus, if you’re feeling peckish or downright hungry we have everything from healthy to indulgent for breakfast, lunch and everything in-between on our menu. In addition to popular items, the ever changing specials ensure that there is something to keep even our loyal regulars excited. Open from early morning, you can dine in and share our love of good music, or just keep on the move, with our take away items.

NOTICE: Our hot desking and meeting rooms are no longer available for hire. Apologies for any inconvenience! Local hot desking is available at The Workbox Truro and Old Bakery Studios. We welcome customers to use our free WiFi in the cafe also.

We are open daily!
Monday – Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm
Kitchen: 9 am – 3 pm
Sunday: 10 am – 3 pm
Kitchen: 10 am – 2 pm

Our menus cater for people looking for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, & dairy free options.

Breakfast – With granola bowls, porridge with a range of toppings, tummy filling English breakfast, filled ciabatta roll, loaded breakfast wraps, & our ever popular avocado, lime & chilli smash with poached eggs on sourdough toast we have a breakfast for everyone.

Lunch – We make fresh soup every day, offer an extensive range of sandwiches and wraps, colourful salad bowls and seasonal specials, including stews and jacket potatoes in the winter and homemade quiches in the summer.
Our Kids Menu caters for tiny hands and stomachs.
We now also offer our Punk Thai menu with tom yum soup, prawn toast, spring rolls, curry of the day, egg fried rice, & pad thai.

Drinks – Locally roasted, single origin Yallah Coffee, fresh Tregothnan Teas, hot chocolate, smoothies and milkshakes, plus wine, Cornish Orchard cider, Asahi SuperDry lager, & Verdant Lightbulb pale ale.

Sweet Treats – An ever changing selection of indulgent cakes, tray bakes, chocolatey bites, & of course a traditional Cornish Cream Tea (jam first!).

TREGOTHNAN TEA

Based just down the road from our little city. Tregothnan are the best and only tea actually grown in the UK. We like them because they are reimagining tea, with unique flavours and all done in a sustainable way.

DA BARA BAKERY

Like many of our customers we just love their delicious sourdough bread & ciabatta rolls, and we are delighed to support this popular local bakery.

CHOUKETTE BAKERY

This clasically trained bakery supply us with all of the best French pastry treats, like their cinnamon buns, almond croissants, & speciality cruffins (it’s like a hybrid between a croissant and a muffin!).

BB’S GLUTEN FREE BAKERY

BB’s supplies us with a huge range of certified gluten free decadant traybakes, and we always make sure to stock up on their ever-popular Millionaire Shortbread, & Cherry Bakewell Blondie, as well as any seasonal treats they come up with.
